01

About our services

What we make, who we work with, and where to explore.

Who do you design websites for?

TheraCrafted designs websites for mental health professionals, including therapists, counselors, psychologists, psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and multidisciplinary practices. We bring your services, approach, and personality together in a website that helps people understand your work and find a clear next step. Explore our services.

Do you write website content for mental health professionals?

Yes. We can write new copy or refine what you already have, from your homepage and biography to service descriptions. Content organization and light editing are included in our website packages; full copywriting is scoped separately so the amount of help matches your needs.

Do you work with solo practitioners or group practices?

Both. A solo practice may need a focused introduction, while a group practice may need clinician profiles, more services, or multiple locations. We plan the structure around how your practice works and quote additional pages or features before building them.

What platform do you build websites on?

Our websites are built with WordPress. We can personalize an established design or create custom layouts, then set up everyday content so you can manage the agreed areas after handover. We will help you understand what you can edit and what may need technical support.

Do you provide SEO for mental health practice websites?

We include search foundations such as page titles, descriptions, heading structure, image alt text, and clear content organization. More extensive SEO work is a separate conversation. We do not promise a particular ranking or number of inquiries. See how visibility fits into our services.

Can you move content from my existing website?

Yes, where we can access and reuse it. We will review the existing pages, images, and structure, then agree what to keep, revise, or leave behind. Migration, redirects, and any platform limitations belong in the project scope before work starts.

Who will I be working with?

TheraCrafted is a founder-led studio started by Andrew. The work brings together design, writing, development, and thoughtful guidance for people who help others. Meet Andrew and learn about the studio.

Where can I find your articles and guides?

Design Psychology is our home for ideas about color, typography, clarity, accessibility, and the experience of using a website. Explore the published collection for deeper explanations and visual examples. This FAQ focuses on the practical details of working together.

02

Pricing & practical details

The investment, the timing, and the details to plan around.

How long does it take to create a website?

Timing depends on the number of pages, the amount of writing and custom work, and how quickly content and feedback are ready. We agree on a realistic schedule during planning. If you have a launch date in mind, include it in your inquiry so we can discuss it early.

How many pages are included?

Our one-page starting point includes up to seven sections. The personalized template and custom website starting points each include up to five pages. Additional pages, clinician directories, and more involved features are quoted separately. Compare the starting points.

What are your pricing options?

Website design and build currently starts at $1,500 for a one-page website, $2,500 for a personalized template, and $4,500 for a custom website. These are one-time project fees in USD. Hosting, domain registration, paid services, and ongoing care are separate. Use the Price Calculator to outline what you need.

Do I have to pay all at once?

The payment schedule is set out in your proposal and agreement before work begins. If spreading payments would help, mention that when you inquire so we can discuss what is available for your project. The calculator shows a starting project price, not a payment-plan commitment.

When can we schedule planning or writing conversations?

We arrange those conversations as part of your project schedule. Share your time zone, availability, and any need for an evening or weekend appointment when we plan. We will confirm a time together; specific hours are subject to availability.

How quickly do you respond to support requests?

Response times and the way to request help depend on the support arrangement agreed for your project or care plan. We define those details before you sign up. Website packages include 30 days of support for issues with the delivered website; new features and ongoing changes are scoped separately.

03

The creative process

How your ideas become a website, one considered step at a time.

What happens during a planning or writing conversation?

We talk about your practice, the people you hope to reach, your services, and the feeling you want your website to create. For copywriting, we also explore your voice and how you describe your work. Rough notes and everyday language are welcome. You do not need a polished script.

How many design revisions are included?

Our website packages include two consolidated revision rounds within the agreed scope. Bringing your feedback into one clear set of notes for each round helps us refine the work together. Extra rounds or a change in direction outside the scope are discussed and quoted before we proceed.

Can I see examples before we begin?

Yes. Visit the Website Showroom to explore design concepts, browse the layouts, and watch available tours. The showroom presents possible starting points and illustrative concepts; a finished website is shaped around your own practice, content, and agreed scope.

Will I be able to make my own edits?

Yes. We can set up your WordPress website so you can update everyday content, with handover guidance for the agreed areas. Structural changes or custom features may need technical help. You can choose to manage routine updates yourself or discuss ongoing support.

04

Common concerns

A little reassurance before you take the next step.

I am not tech-savvy. Can I still work with you?

Absolutely. You bring your knowledge of your practice, and we guide you through the website decisions in plain language. We will explain what we need, help you compare the options, and work through the technical details with you.

Will my website feel overly salesy?

It does not need to. We focus on clear, natural language that explains who you help, how you work, and what someone can do next. Your website can feel professional and inviting while respecting your voice and the people reading it.

I struggle with writing about my work. Can you help?

Yes. Start with notes, existing material, or a conversation about your practice. We can help organize those ideas and find language that feels like you. If you need writing from the beginning, we will include that in a separate copywriting scope.

How do I know if TheraCrafted is the right fit?

Explore our approach, design concepts, and starting prices. Then tell us about your goals, budget, and timeline. An initial conversation helps us understand the project and whether the way we work suits what you need.

What if the first design does not feel right?

Tell us what feels close and what feels off. Specific feedback about the layout, colors, imagery, or tone gives us something useful to work with. We use the agreed revision rounds to refine the direction; a substantial scope change is discussed before extra work begins.

I already have a website. Can you still help?

Yes. We can review what you have and discuss a redesign, clearer copy, new pages, or specific improvements. The first step is understanding what is working and what you want to change. Include your current website link when you get in touch.

What if I want to redesign or expand later?

Your website can evolve with your practice. New service pages, a growing team, updated writing, or a larger redesign can be scoped as a new phase of work. Ongoing care and individual updates are options to discuss based on what you need.

05

Domains, hosting & care

The practical pieces that keep your website working.

Do I need to buy a domain?

You will need a domain, the address people use to reach your website. It should be registered in an account you control, with your contact details. We can guide you through connecting it to the website. Domain registration and renewal are separate from the design and build fee.

Can I use the domain I already have?

Usually, yes. We will check the current registration, hosting, and email setup before planning the connection. Keep access to the account that manages your domain so changes can be coordinated when the new website is ready.

Do I need my own hosting?

Your WordPress website needs hosting. We can discuss hosting options and whether an existing plan is suitable. Hosting is separate from the website design and build fee, and the arrangement, access, and ongoing costs should be clear before launch.

Can I have email at my own domain?

Yes, through a separate email service. We can discuss the setup and any help you need with it. Email subscriptions are separate from the website build. If you already use domain email, let us know before any domain or hosting changes so we can plan around it.

Can you connect my scheduler or EHR?

We can add links to your existing scheduling tool or client portal. Embedded booking and other integrations depend on what your provider supports and need to be reviewed separately. Your clinical records and sensitive intake information should stay within the appropriately configured practice system.

Will my website be HIPAA compliant?

A website build does not establish HIPAA compliance for a practice. The answer depends on how health information is collected, transmitted, and stored, the services involved, and the applicable agreements and safeguards. We scope the public website and any integrations carefully; clinical intake and records need a suitable practice system and qualified compliance review. Read HHS guidance on cloud services and HIPAA.

Who owns my website?

Your agreement explains ownership of the commissioned work, access and handover, and any payment conditions. WordPress, themes, plugins, fonts, and stock assets can have their own licenses. We will clarify these distinctions before you commit so you understand what you receive and what may need renewal.

What happens if I cancel ongoing care?

The care agreement sets out notice, any final charges, and what happens to hosting, licenses, and support. If hosting is part of the plan, continuing the website may require a hosting transfer. We discuss those arrangements with you; canceling care and canceling domain registration are separate decisions.

Can I buy a website without a monthly care plan?

Yes. Our listed design and build prices are one-time project fees, and ongoing care is optional. Your domain, hosting, and any paid third-party services still have their own recurring costs. You can manage the site yourself or discuss individual updates as needed.

06

After your website launches

What a new website can support, and what to expect.

How soon will I see results?

You can assess the new site’s clarity and usability at launch. Search visibility and inquiries take time to evaluate and depend on factors beyond the website, including demand, competition, and how people find you. We do not promise a specific timeline, ranking, or number of new clients.

Can my website help me reach the right clients?

It can make your specialties, approach, location, and next steps easier to understand. That gives people useful information when deciding whether to contact you. Clear design and writing support that decision, while inquiries and bookings depend on many factors and cannot be guaranteed.

Is a new website useful if my practice is already full?

It can still give referral partners an accurate place to learn about you, help existing clients find practical information, and explain your current availability. If you have a waitlist or are growing a team, we can plan clear next steps around those needs.

07

Getting started

A clear next step, even if you are still figuring things out.

What happens after I get in touch?

We review your outline and follow up to understand the project and discuss the next step. Before any paid discovery or project work begins, we explain the scope and cost. You do not need to have every detail decided before making an inquiry.

How do I get started?

Use Start a Project for a short introduction, or try the Price Calculator to share a more detailed outline. Tell us about your practice, what you want to change, and any timing or budget you have in mind.

What if my question is not answered here?

Send us a note. You might be deciding between approaches, working around an existing setup, or imagining something more specific. We will help you understand what the next conversation needs to cover.
